The professional registered nurse in the interventional procedural area works in close collaboration with other members of the Interventional health care team to deliver safe quality patient care in the imaging environment Practices in accordance with hospital policies and procedures, Georgia Nurse Practice Act, Professional Standards, Code of Ethics for Nursing, and the institution's nursing philosophy, Professional Practice Model.
General Duties: Circulate, Monitor, Document, Moderate Sedation; Assess, plan, intervene and evaluate patient needs during all phases of peri-procedural care.
Shift: Full time, Weekdays, on call for weekends, nights and holidays; must be able to respond for on call within 30 minutes.
Education Requirements: ADN or BSN,
License/Certification Requirements: Registered Nurse in the state of Georgia; ACLS, BCLS
Required Skills/Experience: Basic Computer Skills; Background in Critical Care
Experience Preferred: -At least 1 year in procedural nursing; critical care background; prior Cathlab experience preferred
