The Patient Care Partner (PCP) provides both direct and indirect patient care as delegated and supervised by the Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse. The PCP is responsible for health unit coordination by promoting collaboration and efficiency on the nursing unit and demonstrating mastery of time management, organization, customer service and problem resolution,
Basic Cardiac Life Support for health care providers issued by American Heart Association. Successful completion of Patient Care Technician course at accredited college or vocational school (certificate required), or proof of EMT certificate or proof of Medic certificate or proof of CNA certification and 2-3 years’ experience in an acute care environment (i.e. Hospital) within the last 5 years. RN new grads may qualify for PCP roles in lieu of PCT certificate so long as they operate solely within the scope of practice of a PCP and complete required courses by MUMC Medical Education.
Shift for this postiion is Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights only
