The Business Systems Analyst is primarily responsible for working with our Business Units and the Corporate Technology department to improve current processes through more long-term, technology-focused solutions. This position will also serve on a team of system administrators to support various applications.
Responsibilities of the position include:
Analyzing, and evaluating business processes to create, improve, and automate reporting and controls
Maintaining business-unit supported application programming logic / criteria
Designing, developing, documenting, and maintaining Crystal, WebFocus, Access, and other reports and applications
Creating, documenting, and communicating detailed process design outlines and enhancements
Managing multiple projects to completion, and to the satisfaction of business operations
Communicating effectively with users and management to understand their needs and developing the correct solution
Knowledge of or the ability to learn the following systems and languages is preferred:
Microsoft Access / Microsoft Excel
WebFocus / FOCUS
Candidates must possess exceptional analytical and technical skills, the ability to work independently and collaboratively, an aptitude to manage multiple projects simultaneously and a capacity to work in a deadline-driven environment. Must have previous work experience utilizing strong analytical and technical skills. Essential skills include a high technical aptitude, self-motivation, organization, attention to detail, inquisitiveness, and outstanding problem-solving abilities. This position requires a bachelor degree with a minimum GPA of 3.0 or better. A degree in Management Information Systems, Mathematics, Sciences, or other related field is preferred.
