Position Description:
The Quality Control Analyst is responsible for assisting Loan Operations Quality Control Management in analyzing and understanding policy, guidelines and regulations for all business units within Loan Operations and developing and implementing quality control assessments for monitoring compliance with the same.

Specific responsibilities include:
Assist in managing projects related to analyzing lending related processes and procedures and developing and conducting Quality Control assessments designed to monitor the satisfaction of regulatory compliance requirements
Compile, analyze and document test work papers, and draft result findings reports
Track and monitor corrective actions;
Maintain a positive working relationship with business unit management
Review new and revised regulations and standards, and establish a continuous cycle of improvement of the department’s Quality Control Plan
Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned


Position Requirements:
The ideal candidate will have:
Experience in a regulated industry or compliance field with preference given to candidates with banking or compliance experience
Proficiency in Microsoft Office products and ability to quickly learn and navigate various internal systems
Basic understanding of applicable laws, regulations and standards in banking, finance, and lending
Strong attention to detail
Ability to work well with people of varying technical abilities and varying communications styles
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple on-going projects and assignments
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to perform repetitive tasks on an ongoing basis
