Role:

 

To maintain customer satisfaction and preserve existing revenue streams through contract renewals and identify and develop new business opportunities within existing customer accounts.  Ensure all customer information is relevant, correct and updated on a day to day basis.

 

Responsibilities:

 

  1. Manage an assigned base of accounts via telephone, Skype, conference calls etc. as is most efficient and effective. A limited number of face-to-face meetings may also be required.
  1. Maintain existing revenue streams through account renewals.
  1. Increase revenue streams through the sale of additional products and services by prospecting new opportunities across the assigned base of accounts.
  1. Close business with new accounts by focussing on allocated inbound opportunities.

  1. Maintain accurate records on SFDC, recording key activities, plans and contacts, and forecasting accurately as required by the business and in line with Company policy.
  2. Develop an understanding of customers’ business priorities and budgets to generate pipeline, qualify opportunities and forecast deal closure accurately.
  1. Ensure existing clients and prospects are fully aware of the Sungard AS range of solutions, and are regularly briefed on new developments on the company’s roadmap to maximise opportunities for future business growth.
  1. Maintain a ‘high touch’ attentive client relationship, ensuring that all assigned accounts have appropriate Sungard AS services and a high level of customer satisfaction.

  2. Co-ordinate with Service Management and other Sungard AS resources to rapidly resolve issues affecting customer satisfaction and deliver consistently excellent service.

  3. Work supportively with colleagues, operating in a collegiate manner at all times and in line with the Company’s values.

Profile:

 

  • Educated to GCSE standard or equivalent. Essential

  • Knowledge of the IT Managed services market place. Desirable

  • Knowledge of Business continuity. Desirable

  • Commercial awareness. Desirable

  • Good understanding of the sales process. Essential

  • Ability to efficiently use the MS Office suite. Essential

  • Previous experience of CRM. Essential

  • Must be able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Essential

  • Must be keen to learn new skills and acquire product knowledge. Essential

  • Must be able to learn the use of Sungard AS’s proprietary systems. Essential

  • Proven administrative skills. Essential

  • Excellent organisation skills. Essential

  • Some travel is required 10%. Essential

  • Candidate must be eligible to work in the UK and complete BS7858 British standard screening prior to joining company
