Team Leader - Customer Support – Billing Analyst

The Team Lead - Billing & Customer Support Analyst will work on billing projects with the Billing and Accounts Receivable Departments and provide support to back up Invoicing to the client.  The analyst will maintain online database by entering, updating, and retrieving data related to invoicing, as well as formatting and generating reports. The role will also assist in the resolution of Billing related issues by respond to inquiries from internal and external customers and place calls or send messages to those with unresolved issues.

 

  • Research and reconcile billing fees to contracted paper (for Customers, Sales, Accounts Receivable, and External Auditors). Based on finding be the decision maker on the steps needed to resolve.

  • Work with the Accounts Receivable, Billing, and Accounting departments to resolve billing issues

  • Assist with analysis of contract information for billing issues

  • Create credit/void forms for billing adjustments

  • Process electronic invoicing online and monthly summaries for customers as needed

  • Research open credit memo reports each month & ensure all Credit

  • Process Pass thru charges & additional one-time billing submitted via csv reports from various sources such as Vendor Relations & Revenue assurance

  • Process Billing for Usage only customers using PXQ (Prices x Qty) & csv reports submitted by Operations

  • Work directly with internal and external Auditors as needed.

  • Provide professional support via phone and email to both Sales and external customers

  • Work directly with IT to design the new billing system & convert existing customer/dat.  This includes implementing these changes to the rest of the Billing team to fellow team members.

  • Degree in business or equivalent work experience required.

  • Min. of 2 years applied accounting and/or customer service-related experience required.

  • Applicant must be self-motivated, team player, and able to immediately contribute to a fast paced, deadline intensive environment.

  • Knowledge of various computer platforms and software programs (database applications and operating systems) is helpful

  • Excellent written oral, written and interpersonal communication skills

  • Proficiency in Windows, Word, Excel or other spreadsheet experience required.  Lotus Notes, Discoverer, Oracle and/or other database applications helpful.

  • Must be organized and goal-oriented.
