Specialist - ADDM (UCMDB)

Position Title: Specialist, ADDM

Experience: 7 – 12Yrs.

Location: Pune

Roles & Responsibilities:

Responsibility includes working with Recovery Architect to deploy the UCMDB Prob and do the required discovery to scan the customer environment. It’s a Multi-Tenant Environment so ADDM Specialist has to work with multiple Architects to do discovery for multiple customers. Actively working on Discovery and troubleshooting to do the discovery, Post discovery data maintenance, Importing or updating data manually. Generating Reports and helping Architect to analysis the discovered data using TQL, query and standard reports.

Actively and pre-emptively determine possible faults and causes. Ensure integrity of supported environment. Hardware /software fault detection and work with HP to resolve the issue. Analyze and resolve escalated problems within target. Candidate must be prepared to work within a team and sometime to extend the supporting hours.

The ideal candidate will have experience in the design and implementation of large-scale enterprise solutions, excellent written and communication skills, and the ability to perform the discovery and other activity with minimal supervision.


Essential Skills

The CMDB Consultant should have hands on Work Experience in HP UD Application 10.01 and 10.21

Should have done at least 2 real time implementation

Performing Discovery and troubleshooting based on requirement.

Good Understanding of Infrastructure /DB / VM / Network discovery and all related Protocol

Data Upload on CMDB

Hands on Experience on Discovery Job, Adapter, Troubleshooting skills

Sound knowledge on TQL, Query and Reports

Should have worked on multi-Tenant Environment

Good knowledge on Jython and adapter modification


Desirable Skills

Flexible person with the ability to manage stressful situations and adapt to rapidly changing environments and requirements.

Should have worked in corporate environment with different stakeholders of the project

A good technical background in IT configuration management CMDB,

A good understanding of ITIL V3 at least to foundation level, specifically around CMDB

Establishes policies and procedures and ensures adherence

Good knowledge of Integrations.

Able to communicate verbally and in writing to a high standard

Excellent documentation and Technical Skills

The Employee must have core knowledge about the reconciliation of the Configuration Items

Willingness to work overtime if required
