Position Description:
This position reports directly to the Director of Human Resources. This individual will provide administrative support to the HR Director, as well as other executives within the department. The qualified candidate will provide general departmental administrative duties such as answering phones, sorting and distributing incoming mail, scheduling and coordinating meetings and organizing documents and files. This position will also support scheduling travel, interactions with vendors, processing invoices and filing (high volume of documents), among other duties. In addition the candidate will assist with various projects, ongoing reporting and internal communication as needed.


Position Requirements:
The successful candidate will have a minimum of 3-5 years of administrative experience and must be very proficient in the use of technologies (e.g., Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook). Prior Human Resources experience preferred. Candidates must display and possess strong interpersonal skills and be able to interact with staff and management throughout the Company in a prompt and professional manner. The candidate should be able to thrive in a fast-paced environment. In addition, the candidate must have strong initiative, a desire to learn new skills and/or processes quickly and excellent organizational/planning skills. High standards of courtesy, customer service, job performance and respect for confidentiality are essential.

Additional necessary skills include the ability and flexibility to handle multiple responsibilities and to establish priorities in a dynamic environment. Independent judgment is required for appropriate decision making, problem solving and priority setting. Additional skills set include; consistently demonstrate professional, positive and approachable attitude/demeanor and discretion, demonstrate sensitivity in handling confidential information and formulate and clearly communicate tasks, deadlines and expectations to others.
