Position Description:
This position is primarily responsible for processing consumer purpose loans in a loan processing system to obtain approval for document preparation. Position is also responsible for ensuring loans comply with internal bank policies, as well as federal and state regulations.

Responsibilities include:
Critically review loan requests against a set of guidelines and process in an application system to generate a documentation request. (DecisionPro)
Monitor system reporting for completion of regulatory items. (DecisionPro)
Input and verify specific data points required for regulatory reporting, including DTI and LTV
Ensure work is completed on time and accurately by planning, coordinating and monitoring daily activities.
Ensure loan document packages are complete and ready for document preparation including title and/or escrow information for closing, pay off demand statements and appropriate insurance coverage, as applicable.
Communicate with loan officers for any additional information needed to prepare loan documents or provide system approval.
Perform miscellaneous administrative duties or projects as assigned.

Position Requirements:
One to three years of loan processing or loan administrative experience in a similar financial environment preferred
Ability to perform data entry with a high level of accuracy, 65 wpm required
High school diploma or equivalent required with some college business course preferred
Highly proficient PC skills including MS Word and MS Excel (knowledge of DecisionPro is a plus)
Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communications skills
Excellent customer service skills and attention to detail
Familiar with consumer loan closing process
Must be organized and be able to multi-task in a fast paced environment
Familiar with Regulation B, C, Z, RESPA, Fair Credit Reporting Act, HMDA, Fair Lending and other federal and state regulations on lending and consumer compliance
Familiarity with Loan Estimates and Closing Disclosures a plus
Ability to make sound decisions and produce great work under general or limited supervision
Ability to adjust priorities to changing circumstances and maintain quality in fast paced atmosphere
