Position Description:
This position will work within the bank’s Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) Department with a primary focus on identifying and managing high risk customers. This position will be responsible for the collection, organization, ongoing monitoring and analysis of customer due diligence information. Specialists will use a variety of data mining and analytical techniques to monitor new and existing customers’ due diligence information, identify red flags warranting further investigation, and make informed decisions in regards to the customer’s risk profile. This position will frequently communicate with various business units and customers in regards to updating and collecting due diligence information.


Position Requirements:
Minimum 2-4 years of banking experience
Detail oriented, ability to multi-task and meet deadlines with accurate results
Ability to quickly learn new systems
Ability to complete assignments with little supervision
Working knowledge of bank products, services and transaction types
Strong customer service skills.
Strong analytical skills required - ability to problem solve, conduct investigations, review and analyze data, locate its source, and develop and recommend solutions.
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Strong work ethic, independent initiative, and interpersonal skills
Strong understanding of, or the ability to quickly gain such, of Bank Secrecy Act (BSA)/Anti Money Laundering (AML) laws, regulations, and guidance
Ability to establish and maintain harmonious working relationships with co-workers and other business units
