Position Description:

The incumbent is responsible for providing analytical insight to the technology and business processes within the bank operations environment and managing projects to implement solutions. The incumbent will also be responsible for providing training and oversight of solutions which are implemented. The ideal candidate must be well versed in business process design, internal control systems, and project management with a strong analytical aptitude. Additionally the candidate must have an excellent understanding of software, systems, and network design and have an in-depth understanding of reporting concepts and techniques.

Job Responsibilities

Solution Development
Diagram business process workflows and decision making processes
Recognize business process inefficiencies and control gaps for all of bank operations
Develop and implement technical business solutions
Complete detailed analytical research to justify solutions

Project Management
Develop project plans to describe solutions and monitor the implementation
Ensure the timely completion of all project plans

Create advanced management reporting to be viewed by senior and executive levels of management
Ad-hoc reporting and data mining

System Administration
Preferred level 2 administrative support of FIS applications
Administration of internally developed systems or software

Creation of training materials
System administration training
Teach reporting concepts and techniques to other personnel in the department

Position Requirements:
5-7 years of banking experience
1 – 2 years project management experience
3 – 5 years system administration and reporting experience
Excellent PC skills including MS Excel and MS Word
Excellent knowledge of FIS applications
Expert analytical aptitude
Expert oral and written communication skills
Expert customer service skills
Expert interpersonal skills
Exhibits excellent teaching and training skills
Expert problem solving skills
Good understanding of network design
Strong understanding of software and system design
Excellent understanding of bank operations business processes
Strong project management skills
Expert technical aptitude
