Position Description:
The Customer Care Coordinator is responsible for providing exemplary customer service at all times, which consists of actively greeting each customer, answering customers’ questions via the telephone and in person, as well as assisting and supporting the sales associates and other banking center staff members as needed. Responsibilities also include maintaining the appearance of the banking center in order to provide the final touch in all aspects of customer service.

Your duties will include, but are not limited to the following:

-Greeting customers and facilitating a welcoming and customer-focused environment.
-Generating new business and expanding relationships with current customers through networking and Center’s of Influence.
-Building customer loyalty by developing relationships and always offering exceptional service.
-Responding to customer inquiries and concerns by researching and identifying positive solutions.
-Scheduling appointments, opening and closing accounts, servicing accounts, in addition to completing and forwarding appropriate documentation to Corporate.
-Supporting other sales associates and banking center staff as needed.

Position Requirements:
Required Skills:
-Minimum of one year retail banking experience or three years of high level customer service and/or support role experience in a professional environment.
-Ability to recognize and act on cross-sell opportunities.
-Excellent customer service with strong organizational skills and attention to detail are a must.
-Ability to work effectively as a team member and with customers.
-Strong analytical and problem solving skills and the ability to derive innovative solutions.
-Ability to establish credibility quickly with customers; demonstrate confidence in dealing with his/her peers.
-Strong work ethic and high integrity.
-Strong computer skills.
-Friendly, outgoing, assertive, confident, and enthusiastic personality.

Preferred Skills:
-Knowledge of banking products and procedures.
-Successful sales record in a retail sales or banking environment.
-Demonstrated service skills and assertiveness.
-Bilingual (fluent verbal and written English/Spanish) skills.
-Proficiency with all Microsoft applications (Word, Outlook, Excel etc.).

Physical Requirements:
This position requires long periods of standing and may include long periods of typing and repetitive motion. Candidates must possess the ability to lift and carry cash drawers, coin bags, and boxes sometimes weighing as much as 25 pounds.
