Deposit Product Manager - Retail Product Management

Position Description:
We are seeking a professional, highly motivated candidate for our Retail Product Management team. The Deposit Product Manager is responsible for launching and managing existing product lines, which primarily relate to deposit products such as Checking, Money Market, Savings, Certificate of Deposit and other deposit related products and services. The successful candidate must:
Think outside the box and develop ideas, strategies and products for Retail Banking
Partner with internal departments to develop and execute marketing campaigns and promotions
Evaluate and conduct research and analysis to provide recommendations related to new and existing product offerings and partnerships
Manage projects related to products, new development, existing changes, and related compliance and or regulatory changes
Partner with external partners as well as Operations, Compliance, Legal, Risk, Marketing and Internet departments to deliver new products and promotions.
Position may include contract negotiations. Requires excellent communication, project management and analytical skills as well as creativity.

Additional responsibilities include:

Develop strategy to increase deposit production and portfolio growth
Manage and work with sales teams for assigned product lines
Evaluate current product offerings for improvements
Evaluate, negotiate and manage all programs for assigned product lines
Research, design and propose new products
Work directly with operations, compliance and legal departments on product set up
Work directly with marketing to promote assigned product lines
Work directly with front line sales force to promote assigned product lines
Must have the ability to manage all aspects of projects independently, from creation, tracking, communication to achieving deadlines
Extreme attention to detail and compliance with business processes and applicable regulations
Perform miscellaneous duties and ad hoc reporting as assigned

Position Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree required in the areas of Finance, Accounting, Economics or Marketing
3 years of experience in general project management, banking or financial industry
MBA and/or CPA a plus
This position requires excellent communication, organization, project management, analytical and creativity skills.
Advanced proficiency in Excel and other Microsoft products preferred
Must be able to manage several projects and tasks concurrently
