A Personal Banking Officer is the primary operational contact with the clients of the Bank and is responsible for overall assistance and daily management of personal deposit and loan portfolios.

Possess a thorough knowledge of all the services offered by the Bank and good understanding of account analysis statements.

Responsible for resolving problems and issues related to client accounts.

Prepares new account paperwork and requesting services such as transfers, wires, cash requests, and cashiers checks.

Manages operational risk to protect the Bank against losses. This includes overdrafts, immediate credit, wire transfers, negotiable instruments, forgeries, cash control and all other operational matters that place the Bank and client at risk.

Treat clients with the utmost respect and courtesy while handling transactions with confidentiality and efficiency. Tactful and positive language should be used when responding to clients’ questions, concerns and objections.

Other duties as assigned.


Position Requirements:
Minimum 3 years of banking experience preferred
Prior experience with new accounts documentation.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Strong oral, written and interpersonal communication skills.
Prior experience in reviewing and analyzing customer information to identify needs and create solutions
Proficient in Word, Excel and Outlook
Intermediate skills and working knowledge of managing a portfolio of clients.
