The Staff Accountant will be responsible for analysis and reporting functions for LifeShield National Insurance Co. and Homeshield Fire & Casualty Insurance Co. These responsibilities will include general ledger entries, preparation of accounting reports and reconciliations, preparation and analysis of annual and quarterly statutory statements, business process improvement initiatives, and other related duties.
A Bachelor's Degree in Accounting with 3.25 cumulative GPA and one to five years of experience is required. Preference will be given to candidates with insurance industry, public accounting, or other relevant experience. The candidate must be proficient in Excel and possess strong general PC skills. Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills, as well as a proactive work ethic, are also required.
